Founded in 1999 by landscape architect David Young, ASLA, RLA, DWY Landscape Architects is a full-service design and planning firm headquartered in Sarasota. DWY’s philosophy is that landscape architecture is an integration of horticulture, art, and architecture. DWY’s creative and collaborative process is always focused on the development of space, clarity of design, continuity with the architecture, and use of regional and sustainable materials. Much of the firm’s work is edited to achieve a sense of rigor and structure with the desire to create a design vocabulary that is in touch with the spirit of the architecture.
